Research

The research at DTU Bioinformatics is focused on translating wealth of life and health sciences data into improved human and animal health and to develop solutions to problems of biotechnological and industrial interest.

DTU Bioinformatics has following core research areas:

- Health and genome informatics
- Biotech informatics and epidemiology
- Quantitative genetics and systems biology
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Contributing to national initiatives such as:

- Personalized, precision and predictive medicine
- Human and animal health (OneHealth)
- Supercomputing solutions for big omics data.
